My name is Brian Rader I am a NCWRC licensed guide, with over 20 years of fly fishing guide experience & knowledge. I bring a simplistic & rewarding approach to fly fishing for each client that  spells success along with memories to last a life time. I guide clients to a back country experience where rarely you will ever see another human being. These remote areas of the Pisgah National forest are virtually untouched by man.  Streams are teeming with Wild Rainbow, Brown, and the beautiful Appalachian Brook Trout.  I guide clients to the finest fisheries anywhere in the southeast. Back country Trout streams such as Harper Creek, Upper Creek, Little Lost Cove Creek, Steeles Creek , the South Toe River & New berry Creek.  If Back country fly fishing for Trout is your passion, then we have a trip to meet your needs. If  you are looking for bigger Trout, and  sizeable catches, then one of the delayed harvest waters such as the  North  Toe River or  Wilson’s creek is a great choice, and also a great place for  beginners to learn  and hone their new craft.   You can also Book one of our wade & float trips for Small mouth Bass on the New River , Upper John’s River, or the French Broad River.  Whether you want to spend a day in the Back country, or just a relaxing & exciting float or wade trips for Small mouth ,  we have trips designed to meet  the needs of your skill level, physical condition & preference.

Steele’s Creek offers fly fisherman great action with good populations of Wild Rainbow and Brown Trout, along with Native Brook trout in the head waters

Harper’s Creek located in the beautiful Pristine Pisgah forest near Jonas Ridge NC.   This gorgeous stream is an excellent destination for the Fly Fisherman.  Good populations of wild Rainbow and Brown Trout, where 18 to 20” fish are  not uncommon.

Upper Creek Falls near the top of the mountain near Jonas Ridge NC. Above this cascade you will find mostly Wild Brook trout. Excellent fishing in  these beautiful  little pools.  Stealthy approaches are very important as these fish are easily spooked.

Lower Portion of Upper Creek.  Fishing here is excellent, with a strong population of Wild Rainbow & Brown Trout. Average size is around 7 inches, but huge Brown’s over 20 inches reside here as well.
